To start off the new year and the beginning of many improvements to the Baja SAE team’s vehicle, DENSO and its team members made a visit to one of its top recipients of support, NC State MAE.
DENSO is one of the MAE Department’s top corporate partners. Giving attention to our programs and our Baja SAE team, one ofDENSO’s top areas of support is our mechanical engineering senior design course which they have participated in for several semesters. They appreciate our students’ hands-on work ethic, which immediately applies to the work they do for the automotive industry.
They get to see our students in action through both senior design and SAE Baja. DENSO has also supported the MAE Department with equipment donations that has allowed our students firsthand experience with modern manufacturing techniques, preparing them for careers after graduation. The MAE Department is grateful for DENSO’s commitment to enriching our students and our programs.
