  • MAE students are permitted to use one 3-credit non-MAE engineering elective course to satisfy a technical elective requirement. Examples of elective courses that have been permitted include ISE 315 Introduction to Computer-Aided Manufacturing, ISE 316 Manufacturing Engineering I – Processes, ISE 417 – Database Applications in Industrial & Systems Engineering, NE 419 Intro to Nuclear Energy, and CE 497 Water and Sanitation in Developing Countries. Other engineering electives may be approved upon request to the MAE academic advisor. (Note: Students are obligated to have the necessary requisites for non-MAE engineering courses unless waived by the offering department.)
