Newport News Shipbuilding Talent Acquisition is accepting applications for the 2019 Summer Internship Program. Internship opportunities will be available at NNS and the Huntington Ingalls Industries Corporate Office.
To qualify students must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in bachelors or master’s degree programs that match the company’s future hiring needs. Preference will be given to students in core degree programs including Engineering, Environmental Science, Materials Science, Computer Science/IT, Law, and Business. Priority for filling approved openings will be given to returning Interns.
For 2019, summer intern positions at NNS will be limited primarily to jobs that support direct contracts. Students are expected to work full-time, 40-hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer months (mid-May through August).
