Marketing & Communications

The MAE Office of Marketing & Communications (MarComm) is responsible for a number of departmental functions, requests and resources. This page is a central hub for details on the MAE MarComm office, and should serve as a guide for it can be of use to students, staff and faculty within the department.

News

MAE MarComm provides news services to document the exciting activities and developments of our department faculty, students, teams and alumni. News stories are featured on the MAE website and are sometimes included in the annual departmental Magazine: The MAETRIX. Directories

Website

The main MAE Website and the internal MyMAE website are managed by MAE MarComm, additions and changes to these websites aside from directory listings and news stories are generally reserved for procedural updates and changes authorized by departmental leadership. Photo & Video

MAE MarComm is equipped with photo and video equipment that allows us to share the work of our students, faculty and alumni with the public. If you have an event, project or subject that you think could benefit the department’s visual image, please send an email to mae-communications@ncsu.edu.

Branding

NC State has a unique brand strategy that provides many elements like logos, letterheads and other branding materials. MAE’s branding materials are carefully curated by MAE MarComm to support and reflect the greater NC State brand identity while enforcing brand consistency within the department. We also provide a number of brand resources for faculty and staff to use in powerpoints, emails and other communications. Click here for details.

Digital Communications

Communicating the work and ideas of the department is one of the key functions of MAE MarComm, and we do so using social media, email campaigns, digital signage across campus, and more.
