NCSU Study Abroad Program at Zhejiang University. Dr. Jeffrey Eischen with participating students and faculty.

Dr. Eischen is teaching in a Study Abroad Program at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou China May 11- June 18. The course is Mechanical Design Engineering and incorporates a design project from Caterpillar in their Wujian factory. The four NCSU students in his class are: Wensen Chen, Elizabeth Segre, Patrick Povinelli, and Ryan Kelley. They are joined by mechanical engineering students from Zhejiang and do all their project work on multicultural teams. Dr. Eischen’s colleagues, Ms. Lisa Marshall from Nuclear Engineering and Prof Clifford Griffin from Political Science, are teaching courses in Geographies of Energy and International Relations, respectively. A Mandarin language course is also offered. There are 7 additional NCSU students in the program each taking two of the aforementioned courses.
