This postdoc position is expected to: a) conduct cutting edge research and development on ultrasound transducer and array design, fabrication and characterization; b) help manage the lab, supervise graduate and undergraduate students; and c) write technical papers and assist technical proposal writing.

The position requires fundamental understanding and competent experimental skills of ultrasound transducers and ultrasound imaging. Strong hands-on experiences on transducer array design, fabrication and characterization are desired. A PhD degree in Physics, Biophysics, Materials Science and Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or biomedical Engineering, with ultrasound transducer experience would fit very well.
