Faculty promotions across MAE

Several faculty members from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NC State University have been approved for promotion, the University announced Wednesday.

Dr. Katherine Saul and Dr. Cheryl Xu have been promoted from Associate Professor to Full Professor, Dr. Landon Grace; Dr. Kenneth Granlund and Dr. Jun Liu have been promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor with Tenure, abd Dr. Nancy Moore has been promoted from Teaching Assistant Professor to Teaching Associate Professor. The promotions will take effect in August.

These six individuals have demonstrated excellence in the pursuit of cutting-edge engineering research and dedicated education of the engineers of the future. Because of this diligence and commitment to their work, these faculty members have all passed muster under the scrupulous review of the Dean of the College of Engineering, the University, and the NC State Board of Trustees. 

Congratulations to our amazing MAE faculty on their new positions, and to all of the other faculty members across the university who were approved for the 2021-2022 reappointment, promotion and tenure cycle.
