Hello my name is Paul Miller. I am a Non-nuclear Engineering Recruiter at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). Typically, I participate in both of your Career Fairs during the academic year, representing NNSY, to potentially hire graduating engineering students at the Bachelor (or Master’s) degree level. NNSY is still in a position of hiring graduating engineers from either this May, Summer, or possibly in the Fall of 2020. In fact, we were recently given approval to increase the amount of new hires based on our upcoming workload. It is worthwhile to note that during this pandemic, we continued to perform our responsibilities as we were considered “essential” due to our National Defense workload.
