Nine MAE students are traveling to Tennessee Tech University today for the ASME E-Fest Competition. The students will be participating in the Student Competition Design with their robot named RyanWeld.

The Robot Pentahlon requires competitors to perform a variety of athletic challenges as commanded by their student engineers. The festival is a 3-day regional event in which students are able to expand their knowledge, test and showcase new skills, and inspire innovation.

As seen pictured above, RyanWeld, is capable of climbing, racing, lifting weights, throwing a tennis ball, and striking a golf ball. Also pictured above (left to right) are members of the team: Christopher (CJ) Magnotti, Cory Hall, and Sto Ekclund.

MAE wishes the students the best of luck in the competition!
