Dr. Silverberg recently received an NC Space grant titled “Women & Minorities in STEM: Get Trained in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles”. The grant supports STEM through a highly structured, hands-on experience with unmanned aerial vehicles. The students each fabricate their own UAV, and then receive Radio-control flight training.
