Dr. Katherine Saul receives grant supported by NIH

Dr. Katherine Saul recently received a grant from the National Center for Simulation in Rehabilitation Research, supported by the National Institutes of Health. Her awarded grant “Integrated Iterative Musculoskeletal Modeling to Study Growth and Function” is aimed to develop and validate a new platform for modeling musculoskeletal growth and loading over time using a computational approach integrating both multibody dynamics simulation and finite element analysis.  The project also aims to develop software tools to link these computational platforms to enable researchers to improve understanding of injury mechanisms during development and predict response to rehabilitative interventions. This grant is set to last for 1 year.
