Soelect Inc. is urgently hiring for the following positions: 

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Summary:

This position represents a semi-pilot operation for the design of a new product and also oversees product and process optimization and transfer from proof-of-concept to small semi-pilot operations to launch a commercial product.

Duty & Responsibility:

  • Lead in process design and product development
  • Lead in engineering activities regarding new products; define process lay-outs, lot sizes, sampling plans, and in-process test requirements and methods
  • Develop and implement product manufacturing, assembly, inspection, measuring and test equipment
  • Maintain process FMEAs on all production processes
  • Process/implement design changes in compliance with quality management system
    requirements
  • Ensure that product-related documentation is recorded in the document control system
  • Maintain cleanliness of the process, instrument, and other operations facilities.

Qualification & Characteristics:

  • Very strong operations skills, particularly in any polymer film/metal foil/paper roll-to-roll manufacturing (preferred but not required) experiences
  • High level of proficiency with SolidWorks, CAD software, good parametric modeling techniques, and in-context design (will demonstrate)
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of process development and problem-solving skill
  • Highly professional and interested in further professional growth
  • Must be able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong computer skills

Education and Experience Required:

  • BS or greater in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering or related discipline
  • 8+ years’ experience in process and product design and manufacturing

Pay: $60,000 – $95,000 per year

Electrical Engineer 

Will be expected to:

  • Develop electrical drawings for the construction of electrical project and start the layout drawing. All drawings should be done to meet internal formatting standards and the layout drawing should be done to scale.
  • Assists co-workers by providing technical support as well as hands-on support.
  • Interfaces with the Technical Staff to discuss present and future projects for updates.
  • Determine the best hardware to accomplish the desired task.
  • Assemble, test, and prove prototypes.
  • Manage time efficiently and provide low-cost solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Have excellent verbal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database or spreadsheets.
  • Observe all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment as required.
  • Maintain 5S: clean, safe, and organized working environments.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s (Preferred) with 1 years related work experience. However, 2-year AAS (Electrical Engineering) with 3 years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Experience Requirements:

Must be proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) to include layers, drawing to scale, drawing dimensions and basic AutoCAD commands. Working knowledge of programming and interfacing PLCs is a plus.

Must have:

  • the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    · the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    · the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and co-workers.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 – $30.00 per hour

Licensed Electrician 

Will be expected to:
  • Install devices including switches, outlets, ballasts, etc.
  • Install lighting upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot circuits; analyze system operation for potential problems and opportunities. · Perform electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Basic understanding of Predictive and Preventative Maintenance
  • Maintain inventory of common switches, outlets, ballasts, etc.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
  • Complete required paperwork for each assignment for requested or required additional work. ·
  • Communicate professionally and thoroughly with SOELECT team.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner complying with OSHA regulations and company rules.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
 
Education Requirements:
  • 2-year AAS (Electrical Engineering or related discipline) with 2 to 5 years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years’ electrical experience preferred in a commercial application. Intermediate/Proficient computer skills.
  • Attention to detail; perceptual speed; information ordering.
  • Time management; organizational skills.
  • Adaptability; dependability; flexibility; integrity.
  • Team player; good communication skills.

Job Experience Requirements:

Must be proficient in reading, wiring, diagrams and schematics. Knowledge of NEC preferred. To perform this job successfully, individual should have basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office Software (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet software. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and co-workers.
 
Pay : $15.00 – $30.00 per hour
