- Introductions and greetings
- Aaron Cusher explains the details about the reservations for the upcoming faculty graduate student softball game. Notable prices are:
- Pullen park shelters are $55 for reservations on a first come first served basis - there are 9 shelters and most likely we will not need to reserve one for the cookout portion (assuming we can find one empty shelter)
- Pullen park softball/baseball diamonds are reservable for $15 an hour on a first come first served basis
- James Pearson and Keith McDaniel will not be present the suggested day of the event, three other probable event dates are selected: 1) 4/12/07 Thursday; 2) 4/19/07 Thursday; and 3) 4/20/07 Friday for the softball game, with 4/12/07 Thursday being the most desriable/first choice.

- The decision is made to eat between 4:30 and 5:30 (with it being OK to show up at 5pm) the day of the event and begin play between 5:30 and 6 for the next two hours.
- Keith McDaniel agrees to research the mechanism for obtaining funding/reimburrsement for reservations and food. Estimated amount is around $250.

- For the poster competition, decision is made increase the prize amounts from $100 to $150 dollars for all winners, the judges will number 4 to 6 with GSA members choosing the judges, and to divide contestants into MS and Ph.D. categories and have a 1st and 2nd place with two separate overall winners among both MS and Ph.D. for best poster (artwork) and best technical work/innovation.

- James Pearson agrees to discuss the dates and times with ME faculty on Monday and Tuesday of next week and get back with Aaron on Wednesday with the availability and preferred time/date for ME professors.
- Aaron Cusher agrees to discuss the dates and times with AE faculty on Monday and Tuesday of next week and get back on Wednesday with the availability and preferred time/date for ME professors.
- James Pearson agrees to check Stones school supply for poster board and trophies for the poster competition and softball game respectively.
- Keith McDaniel agrees to check with his contact about obtaining poster board and display stands for the poster competition.
- The decision is made to ask all attendees to RSVP to MAEGSA@gmail.com for the softball game.
- The decision is made to encourage faculty to bring family and friends to the softball game.
