Horton and Pietrzak Receive Pride of the Wolfpack Awards

Donna Horton and Daniel Pietrzak received Pride of the Wolfpack awards recently for their hard work and dedication to the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department.

This program recognizes NC State employees for a special or unique contribution to their college/unit or the university.

From June to December 2007 Donna not only undertook her normal responsibilities as University Administrative Manager for MAE, but also performed the duties of the post-award contract manager while that position was vacant. Donna also trained Crystal Hanson, Dr. Gould's new assistant, on the PeopleSoft HR and Financials programs.

If there were any questions regarding the Engineering Building III Groundbreaking held February 27 th , Daniel was the person to call. He spearheaded this important event, working long hours to ensure the event was the best possible. Daniel dealt with multiple levels of the university to coordinate the groundbreaking, in addition to handling everything from fire safety to flowers, to chairs and sound system.
