Industrial Assessment Center Wins Center of Excellence Award

The NCSU Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) in the Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Department was awarded the "Center of Excellence Award" at the annual IAC Director's Meeting in Washington, DC on August 1, 2006. This award was presented to Drs. Leach, Eckerlin and Terry and is given annually to the one Center that has made the most significant contributions to Industrial Energy Efficiency during the previous year.
The NCSU IAC was established in 1992 and is one of 26 like Centers located at universities across the United States. The entire IAC program has been in operation since 1976 and NCSU is the fifth university so recognized.
