Hassan Awarded Alexander Quarles Holladay Medal for Excellence

Dr. Hassan Hassan has been selected as a 2003-04 recipient of The Alexander Quarles Holladay Medal for Excellence. "Established in 1992, this award recognizes members of the faculty who have made outstanding contributions to the university through achievements in research, teaching, or service over their careers." 

Over a distinguished career of close to 50 years in aerospace engineering (42 years at NC State), Dr. Hassan has established himself as a highly respected international and national authority in the aerospace sciences, and many of his research contributions  have been  acknowledged as  "standards of the profession."

This recognition and achievement is an honor for the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
