1977-1980 Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Connecticut, Responsible for coordinating and teaching an upper division course in measurement techniques.

1972-1977 Analytical Engineer in the Noise Reduction Group at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Connecticut Operations. Responsible for formulating analytical models of: fan, turbine and core engine noise generation, propagation and radiation phenomena. and for developing prediction systems for these types of noise.

1970-1972 Part-time employee of the United States Naval Applied Science Laboratory. Responsible for a small project on rotor noise.
