A student completing this course will be able to solve problems involving two-body orbital
mechanics, earth satellites, interplanetary trajectories, and special topics as time permits,
e.g. launch vehicle performance and design, atmospheric entry and atmospheric heating.

There will be homework assigned at regular intervals (weekly, in general),
1 project (optional), 2 tests and 1 final exam.

- HW: 20%

- Policies on late assignments:
Homework and project deadlines will be enforced. Late homework will not be accepted unless
there is a compelling reason (as determined by the instructor) as to why the assignment is late.
All assignments must be turned in before the start of class on the due date.

- The students are responsible for discussing makeup exams if they miss exams due to
excused absence. The instructor will choose a mutually agreed date and time for the
makeup exam.
- Late submission of homework assignments due to excused absences is not subject
to the policies on late assignments.
