At the Charleston , SC facility, Bosch designs and produces precision automotive components and systems sold to vehicle and powertrain manufacturers worldwide. These include systems and components for gasoline & diesel injection and Anti-lock Braking Systems. We currently have 2200 employees in a team environment and in a three-shift, non-union plant. Facilities are modern and fully air conditioned with state of the art equipment.

CLASSIFICATION/DESCRIPTION BRIEF:

Coaches or leads cross-functional teams to meet quality system and statistical requirements.  Acts as a technical resource for statistical methods and quality systems planning and other applications across different company functions.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·         Bachelor’s Degree  (Engineering or related field)

·         Understanding of basic statistical concepts and ability to guide others in their use.

·         Superior written and oral communication skills to independently prepare and deliver presentations and training materials.

·         Ability to interface with the organization, customers, and suppliers to solve problems and train.

·         Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

·         Superior computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, statistical, and presentation software.

·         Strong team facilitation skills and the ability to motivate teams and individuals not in a direct line of control to advance on improvement projects.

·         Motivational skills to act as a change agent for the organization.

·         Willingness to travel for training and project work.

 

OTHER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

·         Knowledge of QDAS/Minitab statistical software.

·         Certified ISO/TS16949 Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor

·         Knowledge of IQFMEA software.
